Knights of Columbus

The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic, Fraternal, Social, and Charitable organization founded in 1882 by Fr. Michael McGivney in New Haven, Connecticut. Today, over 1.6 million men throughout the world are members. They and their families are a foundation of the Catholic Church.  There are four degrees in the order, representing virtues of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism.

The Knights of Columbus, the world's largest Catholic family fraternal service organization, provides members and their families with volunteer opportunities in service to the Catholic Church, their communities, families and young people.

Membership in the Knights of Columbus is open to practicing Catholic men who are at least 18 years old. Application blanks are available from any member of the Knights of Columbus.
