Baptism Information

Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit (vitae spiritualis ianua), and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission: "Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water in the word.” (ccc 1213)

To have your child baptized at St. Jerome, you must be registered at St. Jerome and you must attend a Baptismal Preparation Class.  (held on a monthly basis – date announced in bulletin)  Baptisms are held on the last weekend of the month during 5:00 pm, 7:00 am and 12:30pm (11:00am during the Summer Months) Masses, and following the 12:30 Mass.  After attending the class, please call Jeanie at the office to schedule your child’s baptism.
